You're just footsteps away from beautiful Dover Beach and the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea!

Happy Hatchlings is on the ground floor island side and, with no steps, is easily accessible. It features several of the original coral stone walls, preserved during the remodeling of this historic building. The comfortably furnished living room and TV area flows into the fully equipped kitchen and out through large glass doors onto a spacious patio. Here there are dining and seating areas enclosed in a private fenced garden with a pergola. A barbeque and hammocks for the pergola are also provided. Throughout Turtles Nest you’ll be able to enjoy art by local artists. The owners are well-known on the island for their art-based family business, Best of Barbados Gift Shops, and the paintings and some accessories in each ‘Nest’ are by all three generations - Jill Walker, Sue Trew and Holly Trew. The family also support local art and craft persons, so be sure to admire the unique pieces you’ll find in each villa.

The Master bedroom in Happy Hatchlings, decorated in cool aqua blues with a hatchlings theme, has a queen bed, an ensuite and a private gallery. 

Bedroom #2 also features a queen bed and bedroom #3 has twin beds that can be joined to make a king on request. There are spacious wardrobes in each room. These rooms share a bathroom with a shower and the bathroom is adapted to accommodate those that need a little more assistance. All the bathrooms have fun artistic details, making them unique. 

There is a spacious laundry with a combined washing machine and drier plus a utility sink.

There is air conditioning and fans throughout.

The building has free Wifi.

Guests can enjoy the use of thoughtful details like a welcome package of refreshments on arrival, a boogie board for surfing the waves, a cooler for island expeditions or just for cool drinks on the beach, loungers for each guest and a community hall cupboard with games and books for all ages.
