Property Description
There are very few naturally beautiful and unspoilt working farms left on the island of Barbados. Seeing one in all its operational glory is a treat, owning one, for a true land and animal lover, is about as rare and as personally rewarding as the real estate experience gets.
Spread over 564 acres of rolling countryside, Kendal Plantation is a modern day farm in a yester-year setting. Situated in an elevated location a few miles inland from the east coast of the island and not more than 15 minutes drive from The Crane Beach Resort, the plantation boasts the following enterprises
- Modern Dairy
- Black Belly sheep farming
- Pig farming
- Race horse training
- Hay baling
- Accommodation
The current owners have put a considerable amount of time, energy, care, expertise and money into the property including converting one of the old factory buildings into apartments. There is planning permission for more buildings to be converted into private accommodation.
